No Hidden Fees on Extra Expenses for Stays Act of 2023 or the No Hidden FEES Act of 2023

This bill requires providers of short-term lodging (e.g., hotels, motels, inns, and short-term rentals) to include each mandatory fee when displaying or advertising the price for a reservation.

The requirement does not apply to providers that offer short-term lodging for purchase pursuant to a corporate, government, or institutional travel management program.

The bill provides for enforcement by the Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general.
