Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Sustainable Water Supplies Act”.

SEC. 2. Pilot program.

SEC. 3. Report.

Not later than 2 years after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of the Interior shall complete a report on the feasibility of the agreements described in section 2 for long-term use of existing or expanded non-Federal storage and conveyance facilities to augment Federal water supply, ecosystem, and operational flexibility benefits.
