To direct the termination of the use of United States Armed Forces for the construction, maintenance, and operation of the Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore pier on the coast of the Gaza Strip that has not been authorized by Congress.
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. Termination of use of United States Armed Forces for construction, maintenance, and operation of the Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore pier on the coast of the Gaza Strip.
(a) In general.—Congress hereby directs the President to terminate the use of United States Armed Forces for the construction, maintenance, and operation of the Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore pier on the coast of the Gaza Strip by not later than the date that is 30 days after the date of the adoption of this joint resolution (unless the President requests, and Congress authorizes, a later date) unless specific authorization for such use of United States Armed Forces has been enacted.
(b) Rule of construction.—Nothing in this joint resolution shall be construed as limiting cooperation between United States Armed Forces and the State of Israel.
