A BILL

To amend title 10, United States Code, to reduce the minimum number of participating students required to establish or maintain a unit of the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Preserving JROTC Programs Act”.

SEC. 2. Reduction to minimum number of participating students required to establish or maintain a unit of JROTC.

Section 2031(b)(1)(A) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking “100” and inserting “50”.
