Summary

Telehealth Enhancement for Mental Health Act of 2024 or the TELEMH Act of 2024

This bill requires the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to create a billing modifier for certain mental health services that are provided via telehealth under Medicare.

Specifically, the CMS must create a billing modifier for telehealth mental health services that are provided by auxiliary personnel (i.e., individuals acting under the supervision of a physician or other practitioner) and that are billed as incident to a physician or practitioner's services.
