To amend the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to modernize certain reporting requirements for electioneering communications, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
This Act may be cited as the “Electronic Filing of Electioneering Communication Reports Act”.
SEC. 2. Modernization of certain reporting requirements for electioneering communications.
Section 304(a)(11)(A)(i) of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 (52 U.S.C. 30104(a)(11)(A)(i)) is amended by inserting “or makes electioneering communications” after “expenditures”.
