Mrs. Murray (for herself, Ms. Collins, and Ms. Baldwin) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions


A BILL

To reauthorize the program on prenatal and postnatal health of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Promoting Maternal and Child Health Through Substance Use Prevention Act”.

SEC. 2. Reauthorization of program.

Section 317L(d) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 247b–13(d)) is amended by striking “2019 through 2023” and inserting “2024 through 2028”.
