IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES

Mr. Peters (for himself and Mrs. Capito) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions

A BILL

To amend the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act to reauthorize the youth prevention and recovery initiative.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Youth Prevention and Recovery Reauthorization Act of 2023”.

SEC. 2. Reauthorization of youth prevention and recovery initiative.

Section 7102(c)(9) of the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act (42 U.S.C. 290bb–7a(c)(9)) is amended by striking “2019 through 2023” and inserting “2024 through 2028”.
