Improving Social Security's Service to Victims of Identity Theft Act

This bill requires the Social Security Administration (SSA) to provide a single point of contact to assist individuals regarding the misuse of a Social Security account number or the loss of a Social Security card in the course of transmission from the SSA to the individual. The single point of contact must track the individual's case to completion and coordinate with other specialized units to resolve case issues as quickly as possible.
