Mr. Merkley (for himself, Ms. Murkowski, and Ms. Klobuchar) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs


A BILL

To amend the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 to expand access to breastfeeding accommodations in the workplace.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “PUMP Technical Correction Act”.

SEC. 2. Breastfeeding accommodation coverage for certain congressional employees.

Section 203(a)(1) of the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 (2 U.S.C. 1313(a)(1)) is amended—

(1) by striking “and section 12(c)” and inserting “section 12(c), and section 18D”; and

(2) by inserting “, 218d” after “212(c)”.
