Mr. Morelle (for himself, Ms. Sewell, Mr. Kilmer, and Mrs. Torres of California) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on House Administration, and in addition to the Committee on Education and the Workforce, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned
To amend the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 to expand access to breastfeeding accommodations in the workplace.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
This Act may be cited as the “PUMP Technical Correction Act”.
SEC. 2. Breastfeeding accommodation coverage for certain congressional employees.
Section 203(a)(1) of the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 (2 U.S.C. 1313(a)(1)) is amended—
(1) by striking “and section 12(c)” and inserting “section 12(c), and section 18D”; and
(2) by inserting “, 218d” after “212(c)”.
