Mr. Courtney (for himself and Mr. Kelly of Mississippi) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Armed Services


A BILL

To amend title 10, United States Code, to extend the period during which certain survivors of a member of the Selected Reserve are eligible for health benefits under TRICARE Reserve Select.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Sergeant First Class Michael Clark TRICARE Reserve Parity Act”.

SEC. 2. Extension of period of eligibility for health benefits under TRICARE Reserve Select for survivors of a member of the Selected Reserve.

Section 1076d(c) of the title 10, United States Code is amended by striking “six months” and inserting “three years”.
