IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES

Mr. Brown (for himself and Mr. Vance) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation

A BILL

To amend title 49, United States Code, to include a public airport in use by an air reserve station as a primary airport.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Primary airport designation.

Section 47114(c)(1) of title 49, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:

“(K) PUBLIC AIRPORTS WITH MILITARY USE.—Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a public airport in use by an air reserve station shall be considered a primary airport for purposes of this chapter.”.
