Summary
Pipeline Seismic Safety Study Act
This bill requires the Department of Transportation (DOT) to contract with the National Academy of Sciences for a study evaluating federal requirements for pipeline facilities concerning seismicity, erosion, and other dynamic geological conditions. DOT must consult with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on the study.
