Mr. Pfluger (for himself, Mr. Ellzey, Mr. Gosar, Mr. Babin, and Mrs. Greene of Georgia) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Oversight and Accountability
To prohibit individuals who are not citizens of the United States from voting in elections in the District of Columbia.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. Prohibiting voting by noncitizens in elections in District of Columbia.
An individual who is not a citizen of the United States may not vote in an election for public office in the District of Columbia or in any ballot initiative or referendum in the District of Columbia.
