To extend the authority of the Secretary of Defense to make certain payments to redress injury and loss.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
This Act may be cited as the “Extension of the Department of Defense’s Authority for Certain Payments to Redress Injury and Loss Act”.
SEC. 2. Extension of authority for certain payments to redress injury and loss.
Section 1213(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020 (10 U.S.C. 2731 note) is amended by striking “December 31, 2023” and inserting “December 31, 2033”.
