To amend title 49, United States Code, with respect to apportionments to small transit intensive cities, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
This Act may be cited as the “Small Community Transit Improvement Act of 2021”.
Section 5336(h)(3) of title 49, United States Code, is amended to read as follows:
“(3) of amounts not apportioned under paragraphs (1) and (2), 3.0 percent shall be apportioned to urbanized areas with populations of less than 200,000 in accordance with subsection (i);”.
