To prohibit the use of Federal funds to establish or carry out the activities of a Disinformation Governance Board of the Department of Homeland Security, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. Prohibition on establishment of and funding for a disinformation governance board or similar entity.
No Federal funds authorized to be appropriated or otherwise made available to the Secretary of Homeland Security may be made available to—
(1) carry out the activities of the Disinformation Governance Board of the Department of Homeland Security; or
(2) establish or carry out the activities of any other entity within the Department that is substantially similar to the Disinformation Governance Board.
