Summary
Artificial Intelligence Standards and National Security Act
This bill requires the Department of Defense (DOD) to submit certain reports with respect to artificial intelligence.
Specifically, DOD must report to Congress on
- the role of DOD in the development of artificial intelligence standards, including an assessment of the ways in which an artificial intelligence standards strategy will improve the national security; and
- the feasibility and current status of assigning members of the Armed Forces on active duty to the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center of DOD.
