Mr. Thune (for himself and Mr. Casey) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions


A BILL

To extend the program to provide liability protections for volunteer practitioners at certain health centers.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Help Expand Liability Protections for Volunteers Act” or the “HELP for Volunteers Act”.

SEC. 2. Extension of program.

Section 224(q) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 233(q)) is amended by striking paragraph (6).
