Mr. Durbin (for himself and Ms. Duckworth) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources

A BILL

To amend the Consolidated Natural Resources Act of 2008 to extend the authorization of financial assistance with respect to the Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area.

Section 451 of the Consolidated Natural Resources Act of 2008 (54 U.S.C. 320101 note; Public Law 110–229; 122 Stat. 824) is amended by striking “the date that is 15 years after the date of the enactment of this subtitle” and inserting “May 8, 2038”.
