Summary

Medicare IVIG Demonstration Extension Act of 2017

This bill amends the Medicare IVIG Access and Strengthening Medicare and Repaying Taxpayers Act of 2012 to extend the Medicare Intravenous Immune Globulin (IVIG) demonstration project through 2020, subject to the availability of funds. (This demonstration project provides for bundled Medicare payments with respect to certain items and services that are necessary to administer IVIG in the home.) A Medicare beneficiary who is enrolled in the project on September 30, 2017, shall be automatically reenrolled, subject to an existing cap on project participants.
