Summary

Armament Graduate School Act

This bill provides authority to the United States Army Armament Graduate School to grant degrees. A degree conferred by the school shall meet the following conditions:

  • it must be approved by the Department of Education in accordance with the Federal Policy Governing Granting of Academic Degrees by Federal Agencies, and
  • the school must be accredited by the appropriate civilian accrediting agency or organization to award the degree.

The establishment and modification of degree-granting authority are subject to certain congressional notification processes.
