Next Generation 9–1–1 Act of 2019
This bill establishes a federal grant program to help state and local governments deploy next generation (interoperable, secure, Internet Protocol-based) 9–1–1 systems across the United States, enabling emergency call centers to receive, process, and analyze all types of 9–1–1 requests for emergency aid.
