Smithsonian Women's History Museum Act

This bill establishes in the Smithsonian Institution a comprehensive women's history museum.

Such museum shall be named by the Board of Regents of the Smithsonian Institution.

The bill establishes a council, that, among other things, shall make recommendations to the board on the planning, design, and construction of the museum.

The board shall designate a site for the museum, with priority given to a site that is on or near the National Mall.
