Ms. Matsui (for herself, Mr. Long, Mr. Lowenthal, and Mr. Wittman) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce


A BILL

To reauthorize subtitle G of title VII of the Energy Policy Act of 2005, relating to diesel emissions reduction, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short Title.

This Act may be cited as the “Diesel Emissions Reduction Act of 2019”.

SEC. 2. Reauthorization.

Section 797(a) of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (42 U.S.C. 16137(a)) is amended by striking “2016” and inserting “2024”.
