Summary
Port Operations, Research, and Technology Act
Ports Improvement Act
This bill requires the Department of Transportation to make grants to states or other entities with a transportation function to assist them in funding projects to improve the safety, efficiency, or reliability of the movement of goods through ports and intermodal connections to ports.
Coast Guard Blue Technology Center of Expertise Act
The bill also requires the Coast Guard to establish a Blue Technology Center of Expertise.
