Servicemember Debt Collection Reform Act

This bill directs the Department of Defense (DOD) to review and update DOD Directive 1344.09 and any associated regulations to ensure that such regulations governing debt collector interactions with unit commanders of members of the Armed Forces comply with federal consumer protection laws with respect to debt collection.
